To meet the needs of our customers, in 1978, we acquired Rancho El Milagro with 75 hectares. Starting from scratch, we prepared the land, improved the soil and irrigation system, which at that time was furrow irrigation. Years later, sprinkler irrigation arrived, and over the years, we have always modernized to stay at the forefront of modern agriculture.
In 2007, “Agrohortalizas El Milagro” was founded, with “Señor Sabor” being the most important, registered, and patented brand. We began the production of bell peppers and cucumbers in greenhouses and shade nets.
Over the years, and thanks to hard work, we acquired more land, reaching over 300 hectares today. We use the best drip irrigation technology and irrigate with deep well water.
Currently, the family business is managed by the fourth generation, with over 350 employees, and our products are supplied nationally and internationally.
At “Agrohortalizas El Milagro,” we produce garlic, five varieties of lettuce (Romaine Lettuce, Iceberg Lettuce, Sangria Lettuce, Italian Lettuce, Lettuce Hearts), Cauliflower, Chinese Cauliflower, Artichoke, Celery, Celery Hearts, Garlic, and rotate the land with corn for forage and reproduction.

Packaging material
One of our multiple commitments with sustainability is our packaging material, which has “Responsible Forestry Certified” certification. We guarantee that our packaging comes from responsible sources, promoting the conservation of forests and biodiversity.
Drip irrigation system
These systems allow us to obtain utilization efficiencies above 90-95%, compared to other industry practices that range between 55-60%. In addition, the water supply uniformity coefficient of the drip irrigation system is above 90%. Finally, this system allows us to provide water to the correct area for the optimal development of different crops.
Solar Panels
Committed to the environment, we have 412 photovoltaic panels of 580 wp, GDMTH and GDMTO bidirectional tariff sheets. Taking advantage of sunlight to convert it into electricity, thus saving 100% in electricity consumption.
Reforestation
In recent years, 305 Jacarandas and 98 Pirules have been planted on the farm periphery. These trees tend to absorb large quantities of CO2, which is the main cause of greenhouse effect. It is important to consider that 10 jacaranda trees absorb the CO2 produced by 1,619 automobiles annually.
